Consolette model Number help

Post by kb4mdz »

L = Tabletop; Consolette,
5 = Med. power, maybe 50 watts or so,
1 = lowband, 25-50 mhz (but doesn't tell the split)
JJ = Model series; Mitrek in this case
B = 120VAC powered
3 = PL squelch
1 = "narrowband", as reference to changeover in the what, 60's, 1970's?
0 = 1 channel TX, 1 Channel RX.

Should be a 60 watter and "narrow band" meaning +/-5 kc deviation,not to be confused to the new narrow band of +/-2.5 kc,I wonder if wowbanger is gonna retrofit my IFR 500a for all these changes?!
