HT1250, Programming

I tried to read a HT1250 with the CPS R06.04.00. After a few seconds it shows the error message 4-1379.
That sounds like the error for wrong softwear,like tring to read an LA radio with AA softwear. Or code plug is too new.
Also, I have never seen one but if it is an FD(federal gov only) model i'm not sure what would happen. I would love to see what is defferant about them. Some are privacy plus but they have a G in the model number.
