Batboard

Hi All,

I finally got a chance to install a VHF Syntor X9000 that I purchased a few years ago as a spare.

When I got it all hooked up, the radio transmits on frequency but the transmitted audio is distorted.

Any help would be appreciated.

Well, I hate to point out the obvious, but did you check the microphone?
