I like it. Can it stay open while in transit?

I like it. But.. because it's my wife and she thinks of this stuff...
Where do you put your coffee when you need to talk on the radio?

Thats really cool. I have never seen a setup like that.
I like how it is nicely concealed. One of the reasons I have never done an install in my own car is because I never liked the idea of the radio being out in the open like that for anyone to smash my window and (try to) steal.

I guess Jon-Beau is still in business.... I havent seen anything from them in a few years.
It looks good..I would have used more of a stealth antenn.. Maybe a cell look alike or black UHF spike...

I haven't quite figured that one out yet. I am thinking of getting some aftermarket cup holders. A trip to the local auto store might yeild some results.

I took one look at it and said "Where's the radio?" Ho hum... then Damn! That's slick! That's Fed-slick too. Nicely done.

That's a damn cool little console.
At the moment, I drop a towel over the top of my radio head when I leave the vehicle, to keep it out of sight. The bracket for the head is a clamshell type, so I might replace the screws between the two sections of the bracket with thumbscrews, so I can just remove the cables, unscrew the head and take it with me.

The nature of the interior of my vehicle is such that I can't install a non-factory console of any type.

Yessirbuddy, I do like that install. That is sweet. Talk about hidden and out of sight . . .

Nice install but you still have the antenna to draw attention to the vechicle.
My 2 cents worth.

Does it come with the cupholders already installed or do you have to put it in yourself? And what are the dimensions of the interior? Will a Uniden Bct-8 fit in there? thanks

and those look to be rather shallow cupholders too.
I do like the premise of the install, i would say the closer to stock and the less noticable the better. Bet if that was an A5 in there and a smaller mic, they could go make those cupholders deeper and more functional.
that's still a pretty slick job.
