from the ht1000/mt2000 mtva manual.
looking at the bottom of the holder, tab up, pins 1-8
1 opt B (8.8vdc radio on)
2 spk -
3 busy/hook
4 gnd
5 mic audio
6 ptt
7 bus +
8 spk +
manual says that manual DTMF mics such as HMN3013 and HMN1037 are not compatible with the MTVA.
the two dip switches on the bottom rear corner of the MTVA select standrd or display mics.
for standard, both should be set toward the front of the holder. for display mics, both to the rear. (addendum to manual indicates that the enhanced display mics were cancelled)
standard mics would be a HMN1056D or HMN1035C. some early miniature mics such as the HMN1056A were not compatible.
