				TIR3's on Side Mirrors

Anyone have any ideas on a way to mount some TIR3's or similar on side view mirrors. Whelen doesn't make a Mirror-Beam for the TrailBlazer. I'm looking to take the Vector off the roof and need more intersection (already have corner strobes & wigwags up front). Or, if anyone has any other suggestions for more intersection up front, let me know..thanks..

Most people just screw them on with the Chrome or Black flanges - although I have seen alot using the dual TIR brackets with 2 TIR's per side.
We did this some time ago when we did not have a solution for the Tahoe..for mirrorbeams - but we would just use TIR's now - or replace this setup with CLEAR Linear LED..

I guess I could do that, I just didn't want anything that would stick out too much, etc, but sometimes have to sacrifice function for form. The pics look good, BTW. Or I could wait and see if Whelen decides to come up with a design for mirrorbeams for the TB. I was going to put some TIR3's into the grill to replace some of the frt warning I'm losing when I drop the lightbar, so maybe once I get my hands on a pair I'll be able to see more of what I can do with it. I'm assuming the TIR3's wouldn't stick out as much as the strobes in your pics?

Are you sure the Trailblazer mirror's aren't the same as the Suburban/Tahoe?

You can also mount them to your front quarter panels.
Right above the Wheels at a kick out so it'll give you more intersection warning.
Also you could mount them verticaly in front of the tires, on the fenders

I thought about that (fenders, etc) as well. The mirrors, as far as I know, are different from the Tahoe's
