Spectra 110w VHF A9 ERROR 49/10...

Hi guys,

I've got a Spectra that flashes an error message @ power-up...

ERROR 49/10.


Have checked the forums and searched for this one but haven't been able to find any information. Hoping someone may be able to help with de-coding it!

/10 is hardware failed or not present. Can't remember what 49 is... I'd look at things like Siren, VRS, rear control head, secure (although the internal board would be 09/10... maybe an external housing?), and other such matters.

Hi,

49 is the code for a Secondary radio - the control head is looking for a secondary radio and not finding one. This suggests that you are using either the "HHCH - dualband Spectra" setup or possibly an A9 head with the "multiple radios" bit set..

Just wanted to say, "THANK YOU" for your posts / replies. Appears I have everything under control as of now. Unit was set up for Siren / Dual controls, so all is right with the world.
