I want to convert 2 Maxtrac 900 Trunking Radios for Conventional Operation. I bought the Conventional Code Plug and installed as per the mod instructions I have seen. Here is what happens: The radio Beeps on power up, but there is no display. When I try to read the radio I get a "Radio Not Supported" error. Obviously I need to do something else with the logic board ... what? Your help will be much appreciated.

Blank the logic board with LAB RSS before you change the firmware.
