Suggestions of a Cheap aftermarket Scrambler for MTX838?

Post by ghg55 »

Hi all Batlab members.

Could anyone suggest a aftermarket scrambler etc that would fit inside the MTX838 and pass normally through a couple of GM300s set up as a simple repeater. Its only to give a cheap basic system to stop general scanner users litening in.

Thanks again all

Hi

These guys are pretty good, and have decent prices: http://www.midians.com
Email them with your radio type(s), and what your looking for.

For casual scanner listeners, frequency inversion will thwart 95% of scanner listeners. If your looking for 99.5% privacy from casual scanner listeners, rolling code frequency inversion will do the trick.
