fail 01/90 = Serial Bus Failure. May be control head failure, a radio command board failure, or a cabling failure
More often it's the wrong control head

esta falla es propia de las fuentes de poder de 5 y 9,6VDC. Tambien ocurre que fallan condensadores de 0,1 uf que ponen en corte las lineas de alimentación.

Translation (from babelfish)
"this fault is own of the sources of being able of 5 and 9,6VDC. Also happens that they fail 0.1 condensers of uf that put in cut the supply lines "

If it's a remote head install, more often than not that error code means the power to the head is ok, but the main radio power is not, resulting in a serial bus error. Check your main radio power fuses & cabling if this is the case. If it's an all-in-one dash mount unit, the preceding posts are all correct.

Check the ground on the radio unit itself, make sur you have a good ground location.
