Well, First read, re-read, then re-read-read the information about
rss and dos, and windoze, etc. GP300 is DOS only and not
very high speed at that. Now one thing you may want to look at is
that some of the GP300 rss versions want, (no, NEED), to have a small
file present in the ROOT of the drive you have the RSS on. If it
is not there it WON'T work. I have fixed many "installations"
of gp300 RSS by simply moving that file to the root of the drive
from the directory where someone simply dumped all of the
files from a floppy and assumed it was an "install" The GP300
RSS is the only one I know of that does this quirky thing.
Hope this might be of some help in getting your RSS to run.
Just noticing this is your first post also, so just a reminder
when discussing RSS and it's in's and out's that is ok, BUT
we cannot and will not on this board, offer accept, trade, buy, sell
or any other way of conveying one to another ANY intelectual property
that is in any way related to or attached to RSS. I am sure you
can understand why. But, if we can help you make your personally
purchased and licensed copy work right by virtue of our experiences
with it, Many of us will be more than happy to do so.
Welcome to the board and please take the comments I made
simply as some helpful information for those times you
may need to discuss RSS. Now. GO CRAZY
