Anyone have experience dropping the headliner on a 2004 Chevy Silverado pickup? I think the 2003 is about identical, but before I start pulling (and breaking), looking for tips. Need to drill a couple of roof holes and run the coax down the right rear.

Does it have the overhead console with map lights? If so you can pull that down to get through the roof and leave everything else alone. Another option i always use is to just pull down dome lights for roof access and snake the coax under the headliner.
I try to avoid removal of the headliner were possible.

I never remove the entire headliner when popping holes in a roof. Just drop out the dome lights, remove any clothes hooks or oh sh!t handles and the trim at the top of the B-post and it should pull down enough you can do what you have to.

agreed. they come down by pulling....but they never really go back up as well as they should...kind of a oneway street.
