HT 1250 Scanning

Post by SPVFD47 »

I've started using my HT1250 more then my HT1000 lately. I've programed the channels that I used in HT1000 in a new zone in HT1250. With the HT1000 I had Dynamic Priority set up so that the selected channel was the priority channel. If I switched channels, then the priority in the scan list was changed. I can't seem to figure out how to do this with the 1250. Also the 1000 would alert me (beep) when the priority channel unmuted. I would also like to set this up on the 1250 also. Can anyone help me out ? I also can't seem to get the PTT Sidetone to work even thou I enabled it.

Thanks in advance.

In your scan list, make "<Selected>" the FIRST entry in your scan list. Populate the rest of the list. Then go to the options tab for that list and you'll see the priority buttons active; check the box for 1st priority. (I recommend against the second priority for any function.)

Don't forget that each "personality" has to have a scan list associated with it in order to invoke the scan function when that personality is "selected."

Thanks, RKG. I already had the personalities associated with the scan list. Just didn't know that you could add the selected channel in the list like that.

Just remember that, if you want <SelCh> to be the priority, it has to be the first member of the list, and then you have to activate the priority in the left-most tab.

Thanks I got it... Haven't used the CPS software in a while... More use to the HT1000 RSS and MT2000 RSS. I got the PTT Sidetone to work too. Thanks for the help. Just gotta figure you what the deal is with the firmware and trying to get the zone button to work.
