Flash upgrade / Host/DSP upgrading questions

Flash upgrade / Host/DSP upgrading questions

If you are to get a Flash upgrade, will the file also upgrade the HOST/DSP, or is this a factory only deal?

A flash upgrade that's ordered through proper channels and is correctly done will include any host and DSP upgrades that are required.

That's what I was planning on... I should be getting some prices on upgrades this week, but the guys at the shop weren't too sure if it was included, as they don't do upgrades that often, as all the stuff they to agencies usually isn't upgraded until later..[/url]

You will need to ensure that the radio's current flashcode and DSP/host firmware versions are provided to the rep. They're required for them to generate the CORRECT flash files.
