hi, i have a ht1250 ls +... (made 2001)(programmed w- cps 6.04)

it has the voice record board installed, it works great....


one major problem..

NO MDC SIGNALING!!!(encode/decode/display)

now i have the fill keypad, the works..


a normal 1250 works fine....why is this...???

could it be because of the trunking???

the trunked side has mdc....



please help, im goin insane here!!!

What is the exact model number?

It has long been discussed here that the majority of LS's don't do MDC on conventional.

Use the SEARCH option above.

Your radio model number needs to end with 7AN or 9AN for the MDC to work on conventional channels. It also gives you 34 conventional channels. Otherwise, it's the "basic" LS+, which only gives 16/18 channels & no MDC on conventional.
