Here in the UK a few years ago in the early part of 2000 a new digital tetra network was introduced called Dolphin, the handsets were mainly d700 motorola sets designed for the dolphin network.

Around 2004 dolphin went bust and the network was switched off leaving thousands of d700 available and unusable as the network closed.

I am trying to find out if anyone knows if there is a way to program the d700 to run back to back or if anyone whos how to do this, I am also interested to know if the d700 is based on a particular radio and where I can obtain the cables to program this rado.

Any help would be appreciated.

Some of them can do "Direct Mode" ("simplex") talking from one another,
BUT you need special RSS and programming cables.... until then paperweights is a nice job :(
