MT2000 & QCII

Post by pctek_1957 »

Hi, I know my MT2000's will decode QCII, but can they encode QCII signaling as well? Thanks

What is the band of your mts 2000. I have a vhf full dispay/keypad and need the QCII. If you could help me with a codeplug I would appreciate it.

You could always set the two side buttons above the PTT for singletone. So as an example, one button would be tone A and the other would be tone B. Just another way to skin the cat.

I actually did that exact setup once and it did work, there is a little more delay between the 2 tones that you would normally have since they are being sent manually, but it did work.
