Ok, here are my m5 problems.

1. My charger blew my battery again (new batterY)
2. When my pager was in the ccahrger before, when it would go off, it would squeal and record the squeal.
3. I have been told by numerous sources that it was the battery and the amp chargers and mot has a 3rd revision of the amp chargers. My question is, what is the bottom line, what should I do? WHAT HAS THE LATEST REVISION OF THE AMP CHARGER COMPLETED? MY DEALER THAT I BOUGHT THE PAGER FROM WILL NOT HELP ME AND QUITE FRANKLY, I am about go complain to motororola about him. Thanks for the help

Well IMHO if the Motorola dealer I bought a pager from does not want to help me with the problem, which is not there fault, I would call /\/\ stead fast and let them know of the problem and issues. In addition I would also try to make it very clear to all customers of that dealership know what they are doing as a dealership in not providing you with help or solutions to your issue which is very well known by /\/\.

Second call /\/\ directly!!! I had my M5 amp blow my battery and I called /\/\ directly and told them the problem. IN turn since the pager was under warranty and it was a known problem I sent back everything (charger/amp, PS, Pager, battery).

About a couple of weeks later I got back a brand new M5 with a new battery and a desktop charger not an amp. Then about three weeks later I got a new amp which was a redesign and I have not had an issue since then.

So call /\/\ and talk to pager support, they will get a case # along with e-mailing you all the return shipping lables back to you and then you can go and get your pager back in a couple of weeks and a new pager all ready to go.

Motorola does not offer warranty at the dealer level for the Minitor pagers any more. All warranty is directly with motorola through their depot service.
Don't blame the dealer for this one.

...but a dealer that gave a damn would have pointed you in the right direction. I give my dealer all my Minitor warranty problems and they send them in and take care of them.
