anyone have an mts codeplug? i have an expiriment

Post by nh7cy »

So i bought an MTS off of eBay and upon discovering my programming cable was dead i traded it off for a different radio. Only thing is, it looks like the MTS was programmed with CPS and of course, the person i sent it to and i only have RSS 6.07.

Basically I'm looking for a blank codeplug from an MTS2000 Model II UHF 403-470 that was last read with 6.07.

This radio is post toolproofing. I'm not really familiar with cloning as i haven't had any reason to do it before, but the theory is to clone the older codeplug into this radio so it can be read with the RSS. Although I'm guessing since cloning requires the RSS to retrieve the radio's S/N it might not work.

If anyone has a codeplug though let me know!

The two radios need to have the same flashcode when cloning...

Stupidity creates job security!

If your radio has old firmware, programming it with the latest CPS will not add any new features unless you have the latest firmware to match..

CPS = Customer Programming Software, Not CPS Software.

Flashcode: 000004-000000-6

BTW: All of this aside, will it work if all this information matches?
