Ok here's a new one! First time radio is ever programmed, software/firmware 7.07 version. Now, go to read the radio, and it says the following:

"You can not read, program, or tune a CBI radio until you initialize it".


***WHAT THE HELL IS THAT***?????

When I go into Controller Board Initilization Program under the Service Menu, it tells me the model number and Flash code, but serial number is blank.

NOW WHAT DO I DO???? AAAAHHHHH

You need to go to F9 issue it a serial number 325AUG???? Then F8 Then F2 Your done then Go Back F10 To the main Menu get archive F3 Then F2 you have to re-read the radio first before programing it.

Hope all works I do this about 50x's a week!.
