Looking for part for a Quickmount Dual Head kit for CDM1250

Post by Wes »

I have a customer with a Dual Head Quickmount kit on a CDM1250 mounted on a firetruck.

I am needing the part number for the external speaker connector that allows an external speaker to be plugged into the Quickmount box.

I spoke with Quickmount (Valley Industries) and they are no longer supporting these units. Another company has taken ownership of Quickmount and it will be 6 months before any products, including accessories, will be avaliable....according to the guy on the phone at Quickmount.

He told me that all their parts were common and that it used a molex connector. I am fimiliar with molex and the molex connectors used on the Quickmount kits for the Radius series, This connector is not the same. It looks like a small black connector similar to the connectors used on the old in car cell phones for the remote hands free microphone.

If anyone has a connector like this they can part with I would appreciate it greatly. Or if someone else has ran into this before, where can I obtain one of these connectors.

Thanks in advance.....
