OT: Standard RP70 PL/Cor??

A bit off topic but i spent the whole night searching the web without finding any answers...
I have a Standard RP70 repeater here that i want to wire an external controller to, on the back there is screw terminals for everything BUT COR, why would they make all the other signals available and skip the most important? Geez...
So anyway, it has the optional PL board in it, but i can't find any PL Decode or COR level conditioned by PL to connect to the controller. I probed the wires on the plug going to the PL board, one pin does go to +5v on PL Decode but connecting anything to it just messes up the PL for some reason. And it sits at .8v squelched so the controller thinks its active since it doesn't pull close enough to ground. Anywhere else??
Oddly enough the manual mentions COR on the back of the repeater, no on this one, and the schematic even shows COR wired to the back, again not on this one. I have a terminal strip with battery input, ctcss defeat, ground, PTT, mic hi, mic lo, rx audio hi and lo, and rptr audio. Thats it, no COR...
Ideas, suggestions?
