Need help running wiring in 2004 Explorer XLT

Post by Skooter92 »

Besides the little passthrough in the firewall in the foot well of the passenger seat in a 2004 Explorer XLT, are there any other ready made holes through the firewall that will work?

not that i have found, however there is TONS of real estate on the drivers side firewall, just to the left of the brake pedal (behind the e-brake pedal). I went thru mine with a 1.5inch punch no problem.

I drilled a 3/4" hole on the passenger side firewall with no issues.
