Muting settings on the ASTRO25 radios

Anyone have experiences on what they like for the squelch "mute" settings on the Astro/Astro25 radios?
I have a mix of CSQ and PL channels, and can't really find a nice common ground between them. Some with squelch crashes, others with random muting.
For the most part I am using AND/Std, but just curious what others are using. Although normally not needed for most, squelch level it typically set down to 1 due to the "systems" down here being all simplex (very little repeater use).

For straight analog I have been using almost exclusivly CSQ and some with unmute/mute. For mixed mode its CSQ. I live in an area with extremely bad intermod that leaves my ICOM radio useless on the specific block I live on. but with the squelch fine tune set to 4-5 for analog (as low as 3 for digital) I have had no issues even when set to CSQ with my 3000's. This is for intercity repeater use.

If you change the unmute condition you will attenuate your signal on RX by 3db on And/STD and 5db on AND/OR
I have found 800 Mhz simplex fireground frequencies in local county portables set of AND/OR and they localities wonder why they have no simplex range in analog on a fireground.
I run Standard in everything just so I can adjust squelch and always run a PL or DPL for public safety or commercial.
I still run standard on the none commercial uses due to wanting to catch the signal from the noise.
One other thing, I check the box for concurrent RX so I will get a squelch burst when a transmission is trying to come through and is just on the skinny of the threshold.
I don't see ever needing to use another form of unmute unless the users were say in a factory and had high RFI that made the radio RX not like incoming signals.
