What radios do you own?: XTS3000 III, MTS2000 III,

Individual IDs

Post by Motoman »

So far so good. I've gotten stuck. I'm programming an XTS3000 for Type 2 trunking smartzone. Now i've come to "Individual ID" Is that the ID that the radio is issued by the network admin or does it come with the System Key (IE: is it encoded into it)? Also on the Talkgroups page under "Talkgroup #" I can't input the 5digit Decimal talkgroup number it asks for it in HEX. But when converted to HEX it only allows 3letters. I wanted 44048 which equals AC10 but it wont allow it. Any ideas? Also the network connect tone is that systems admin realeased or system key encoded? Cheers
I'm using XTS3000 CPS.

Individual ID is the radio ID, issued by the sysadmin.
On your decimal-->hex conversion, truncate the last nybble. 44048 = AC1h.
Connect tone is not in the syskey, you'll need to get it from the sysadmin (assuming you're a legit user).
