Well... how urgent? What radio? What type of programming platform are you using?

I read an old post a few days ago that covered this. I believe that if you used lab to load in a codeplug that was too new, you would get this. It is some kind of eeprom overflow error. Best bet, find a good codeplug for this radio and load it back in.

I believe that's a checksum error. By saying that your computer froze, it sounds like your radio may have been receiving a codeplug at the same time. If this is true then the radio's codeplug would generate this. I'm not a Astro expert but on other high end models, the most important info to get into the radio is the first two blocks of data. If programming is interrupted after the first two blocks, then the radio can be revived--just load a saved codeplug into the radio.

I have seen a radio here and there that didn't get the first two blocks and crash permanently. If writing with a saved codeplug doesn't help, you may have to send it to Monty or Moneyrola for them to fix.

Good luck
