Has anyone come across this problem with an Astro spectra
After programming an R split 40W radio for Ham freqs the radio seemed to work fine until switching to a repeater channel in the 443.* range and the transmitter locked in transmit even with the mic key released and head power switched off.
At that point I had to unplug the power cable from the back of the radio.
The problem now is that the power can be turned on, receive is fine but when the mic is keyed the radio "reboots" and will not transmit. This happens on all frequencies that worked fine before.

Any help would be appreciated even if it is bad news that the transmit is toast by unplugging the power.
Let me know if I need to post any of the SW, SN, model # codes to help answer the question.

Update on my problem,Turns out reseating the boards in the controller/vocoder section was the trick. Kind of weird because the boards had not been disturbed before, during or after programming.
I guess this is why they retire public safety radios after several years because of these issues. I would be a little upset if I was in an emergency situation and the radio in which I relied on died.

Now all I have to do is solve the IMBE transmit problem I am experiencing.

If the problem is no P25 transmit below 450 MHz and your radio is Range 3 450-482, you're not going to solve it.. they just won't do it. If you put the radio on a service monitor, you'll see that P25 deviation down below 450 is very low; this is because the alignment softpot tuning frequencies start above 450 and don't provide a steady reference to out-of-band frequencies. No biggie for wideband analog FM, but it kills P25.
