is there anyone out here that knows who manfactured the crt,s for the moto 2001 a/b/c/d

Telefunken. and Magnavox. The Telefunken tubes were brighter and had better focus.

you wouldnt have the tube numbers ? for telefunken i have ap 421250 not sure if that is a proper tube number
no info on the magnavox tube at all i have the moto # and they say they still have 28 of them but at $2600.00 a piece i think i would like to out source one just to have a spare , in the service manual they only give you their part # 96-80396a98
i also have electrostatic # d14 390gh i think that one is telefunken,s # aeg# ap 421250 nothing on magnavox

The D14390GH is Telefunken's p/n for the tube. The number 421250 is probably the tube serial number and there is a way to determine the manufacture date by that number, but I don't remember how anymore. I doubt that anyone on the board knows the sequence (with the possible exception of Bernie).

Telefunken also made tubes for the R2200/2400 series, the R1200/S1327 series and I believe they made tubes for some of IFR's older models.

at least now i know i have some good numbers for tubes to search for all of the 2001/2/3/4 tubes look like they would interchange i just wonder if they are similar
