Universal Adapter pin assignment

I have been over to the lab and was looking at the pin assignment for the universal adapter. My question is am I looking at the back of the radio or the front of the adapter? Also is pin 4 to pin 11 just a jumper?
Be gentle with me I have a head cold and cant put 2 and 2 together

Universal adapter? Exactly where on the 'Lab are you seeing this? What radio/series of radios is it for?

OK let me rephrase that. The doohickey that connects to the radio that you use to program it with.
It is for a Astro Saber
