HT1250 volume pot clicking

Post by bezking »

Hi all,

On my HT1250 the volume pot clicks when you turn it, unlike my HT750 which is nice and smooth. Is there anything I can do short of replacing the whole thing?

Thanks!
The bandsplit is only a suggestion.

Likely what's causing the clicking noise you're hearing is not the control itself, but rather the shaft of the control 'sticking' on the silicone rubber seal that it passes through in the control top. After removing the shaft knob, a tiny amount of silicone grease applied with the tip of a toothpick to the shaft where it passes through the seal will cure your problem.

That's interesting... Suggestions for removing it? What else needs to come off?

Thanks!
