maxtrac power connector question

what is the name of the type of power connector used on the maxtrac, low pwr spectra, ETC...?

i need to buy some but dont know what they are called.

I forgot the name but they are found in the RV/boat section...

Just be carefull with the RV/Auto connectors.
If they come in a pair one of them will have the wire colors reversed.
Orginal cables are avaiable from Motorola and can also be found on E-Pay

They may have had a name at one time, but these days they are just called flat molded two pole connectors.

I've also seen them called "quick-disconnect"

Yep. The exposed pole on the radio is positive, so on the wire the enclosed pole will be positive!

Go to your local auto parts store or boat store. They all carry them. Should also have them in Walmart in the auto electrical section.

And if you prefer or need the ones with 12 ga. conductors vice the ones more commonly available with 14 or 16 ga conductors, try www.partsexpress.com in Ohio.
