Pronto FLX programming question

Post by acadiel »

Just a quick "gee, I wonder why" question...

The Pronto FLX is a non synthesized unit (or at least, I thought). The Motorola programming software lets you go in to set the frequency of the unit as well as the capcode. Why would the software let you change the frequency in software if you have to tune the thing?

Thanks :)

all pagers made after the original motorola bravo, require you to program the frequency via software.....

you need to put the baud rate, freq, cap code and then tune the rx board, i use to be a pager tech.......
im always looking for t-band radio's... especially sabers..
