Whelen Edge to Freedom Converstion

I currently have a strobe 4 corner mini-Whelen edge light bar with front facing takedowns and ally lights. I bought 4 Whelen Freedom corners, that require a ballast, and a pair of ballasts for them since they were only 2 channels per ballast. Can I use the current control board in the light bar and just remove the EB6 strobe power supply and strobes or do I have to find an LED control board for ballasted light bars? Any input will help. Thank you in advance.

You need the personality (Control) board for the Freedom/Liberty.

Thank you for the reply, do you know any specific models numbers or identifying markers for the board?

I don't believe a full size controller will fit the mini light bar, and Whelen never made the mini liberty with Ballast light heads.

I would suggest calling Whelen tech support.

Thank you for your reply, this is a separate light bar from my Mini-Liberty. I have Whelen Freedom Corners and want to convert my Edge Strobe to LED light bar but not sure if the current board in the strobe can be used with the ballasts for the LED corners.
