wires inside are
blk.grn red white blue ,,No brown as i seen in other topics I want to convert this 6 pin to maxtrac 8 pin
does this mic need B+ for preamp ? tryed wiring it will ptt but no mic audio

Yes it does. All Moto mics do. I've done this with Maxtrac mics. I know I cut off the 6 pin and crimped on an 8 pin, but I don't recall if I rewired inside to match the pin assignments. Probably did. Look through Batlabs for the wiring diagrams. You'll figure it out.
