Ive just got a 6 way charger. Ive had 6 way's before (HT series), and the fan only ran in the charger when there were lots of radios charging at one time.

The fan runs at full speed on this trbo charger, nomatter if there is only one radio (or none!) in it.

Does anyone with a charger knowe if theirs does the same, or is mine faulty ?. Its less than a week old.

XTS series charger does the same thing. $1300 charger cooled with a 38 cent fan. Akardam kitted up a replacement fan set with more air movement and much less noise.
