Okay, this is two parts.....
First, what can anyone tell me about the SCHOLER-JOHNSON Options Board? What does it take to get this running, any idea on cost, does SJI have a website?
Second, what does it take to make a limited keypad into a full keypad, other than recasing to a full keypad (that I know

)

I can't help with the SCHOLER-JOHNSON Options Board questions, but I can with the keypad question. There are only 2 steps: (1)change the casing (2)Enable full numeric keypad via CPS software. That's it!

Scholer-Johnson (SJI) can be contacted at (407) 645-5093. I've never used their product, so I don't know too much about it. Once the board is installed, you have to use the Scholer-Johnson software to program the radio. I'm not even sure they make a board for the Waris series, but nothing to lose by giving them a call.

I saw your radio, thats why I was asking about this. I have two HT1250's....so more channels would be nice, don't need the trunking features. Do you remember the cost. I read you needed their software to program, more concerned about cost vs. performance. Of course I probably can get by with the 128 channels, but 300 would be fun.
