I am looking to replace the LCD display on my Jt1000, since it is cracked. Is the display connected via a ribbon type cable or does this rest on a series of contacts? Can I purchase the LCD display alone or do I have to purchase the whole housing? Can someone supply me with the part numbers for these? Thanks

The LCD is not a serviceable part, you need the entire LCD and Keypad PCB.

Have seen MTS-2000 fronts on EBay repeatedly.
(Top and front displays). Don't know for sure
but would imagine the jedi front display would be interchangeable with your application.
