my saber 2 vhf reads from 144-160 which are channels programmed in it.

would this be a 130-150 bandsplit?

i think 10mhz diference in a band split would be to much.

It would depend on which branch of the U.S. Government used it. That sounds like it is EX-U.S. military, the U.S armed forces operate VHF in the 148-173 range depending on which are of the world it is being used in. My guess is that it is EX-Military and is probably 146-162 split or 136-150 and someone used the older version 6 saber rss to extend the split range.

Hey 10-95,

Does the Saber RSS Ver 6 do something that Ver 7 does not?

I have always used Ver. 7

OH YES IT DOES!!!! It reads and rights the radios with a few mhz extra each way. Example , in version 6.50 and higher a 136-150mhz split is read as just that, but when read with the version 6, it is 130-160mhz.
And the radio will read and right that way.
