What radios do you own?: HT1250 VHF, CDM1550 UHF

Post by mavericknet »

We're finally moving away from old faithful maxtrac this year with out new vehicle. We're looking to move toward the M1225 due to poor experience with CDM series. However, I've been informed by the Quickmount company that they won't be developing a quickmount for the m1225. Now I'm sure that if there's any way of rigging up one remote control station and have the main radio in the front console, someone here will know how to do it.

Thanks in advance.

I might be able to help but I don't understand exactly what you are trying to do

With maxtracs there was a way of having a full control head at the rear of a vehicle with the radio mounted in the front console. I want to do that with a new emergency SUV, mount the M1225 in the front console and place a remote head unit (channel select/display/speaker) at the rear of the unit.
