Well I keep getting that checksum error when I read the transmit side. I got my hands on another R100 and read that codeplug fine and tried writing it to the one with the bad codeplug. Still didn't work. Anybody have any other ideas. I was playing areound with the hex editor and couldn't figure anything out. After you read a codeplug where is it stored in the computer, anybody know? Please email at [email protected]

Thanks

Since the last version of software came out in 1994. I would think you need to program it in True DOS mode, with a 486 computer! And RIB box, & cables. Sounds like you have a bad codeplug! See the post below, called: RIB Problems. (If its a moto rib, its most likely ok) read the info on computers!

That is the date for the Radius Mobiles Kit "Collection" of software. If anyone accually has a later version, that might help some of the problems on the R100 programming.

The new kit just repackages the old software. There is no "New" version..

Well i got a new codeplug for the radio but now I get a verify fail error. Any idea what this means? Any help with understanding the software would also be appreciated. Like what f and s,v,x,m and all that stuff means.

Thanks

I have a small instruction file for the R100 SW and I will put it here for all to use.

I also have the RSS manual and will copy it for expenses. PM ref. the man.
