I have a GM300 UHF that is a backup. Tried to fire it up last night and it wouldn't cut on. After checking it out this morning, I've found that if I apply 12v to pin 10 on the accessory connector, it fires up just fine.
Two questions....
How did it get like that? Hasn't been in any use, has been on the shelf. The last time I used it was with with a repeater controller. Could changing the function of the accessory connector in RSS change this also? (Ie generic IO, phone patch, etc)
How do I fix it? I've looked here:

And this radio doesn't look like that. I did check the component marked "CUT FOR IGN CONT" - and it has current when the radio is turned on, and not when the radio is off, so I'm guessing that it is OK.

Would suspect that F801 is blown. It is a 2 amp pico fuse (green, looks like resistor) located on the logic board about an inch and a half to the left of the options connector. Not sure what repeater controller you were using, but if it uses B+ off the back off the unit it may have fracture the fuse. Have had this problem with that fuse giving up when unplugging local remotes that are power via the connector. With the radio power switch on, you should measure B+ on both sides of the fuse to ground. Make sure you do not have B+ hooked up to pin 10 while you make this measurement.
