I have read alot about "Labtools" software. Is this something Motorola sells or is this a hackers tool? There are some options that I have read within these posts that interest me, like softpot adjustments for the low battery indication...lower case display lettering...just to name a few.

So if anyone could shed some light on this I would very much appreciate it.

Thanks.

Labtools are software packages (officially)
available only to Motorola, they look
much like RSS programs, but with more
features to re-initialize codeplugs.

In a perfect world, only Motorola is allowed
to have it, but software leaks out, no
matter how tight the security. Suffice to
say, anyone who mentions using it here,
unless they are employed by Motorola, is
using it illegally.
