I recently acquired two saber I radios vhf.
One is a securenet-S and one is just the regular model.
What are the differences and what advantages are there in a 6D core vs. a 5D core?
Any ideas?

No, i dont think so. I have two Securenet-S radios, and they are both 5D.On 2002-02-03 10:13, Elroy Jetson wrote:
Are you saying that the -S version means that the radio has a 6D core, or an 8D one?
I've never been sure about the meaning of the -S, but it MIGHT mean 'Stat-Alert' signalling, come to think of it...
