GTX RECEIVE PROBLEM....HELP!!!

I am having a rx problem with my gtx mobile. After programming (using a system key that was generated) all of the talk groups receive except one of them (800117). They are all in the same personality and have the same personality. However, when I put the radio in the scan mode the 800117 talkgroup will receive because it is in my scan list. Can somebody please give me any ideas to try. I have tried creating different personalities and inserting different information for the system. No matter what I try I still have no luck. Could the radio be bad? Or possibly the system key corrupt? I am using ver 4 r.s.s. Thanks for all the help.....I need some sleep....bart

That is a wierd one. One thing you might want to try is setting your "announcement group" in the personality to 800117. I have seen where departments have their normal talkgroup set the same as the announcement group (programming error by someone who wasn't very familiar with the RSS). This causes the system to send it out as an announcement call, which you will not receive unless you have said ID set as the announcement group in the radio. I have no idea how that might affect the scan, but it's worth a try!
