Anyone have the install instructions or SRN dealing with the install of the Jedi microphonics kit ? (REX4465) Looking for where the stick-on pads go- apparently critical to get those in the right place.

Appreciate the info. Unable to get into that site, registered as instructed but then at log on to this site you get an error message saying you don't have authorization or this site ??

It's a strange arrangement- they sell you a
kit to fix what seems like a design problem but include no install instructions. Motorola's $239. flat rate is a bit much to
fix this minor problem.

I always make sure the sheild is grounding to the frame and RF board well. The conductive pad is optional and seems to be used more on the radios with the silver lining in the front cover to make contact.
Noise on transmitt is also caused by the poor antenna contact and loose antenna "jack" in the frame.
I hope that someone will get us a picture of the SRN's, so I can make the HT1000's work like they should, Moto should be happy if they do work. Then the PD will not think their radios are crap and buy Kenwoods, yeache.

Nand, Who are any of us to say that Radio South is not affiliated with, or for that matter even is the owner of a MRSS?

Just my 1/2 cent. Not trying to argue.......
