Have you ever wanted to own one of the APCOR radios like they used to use on the TV show "Emergency"?

They did not use apcors on Emergency. they used some other radio but they look very much the same

Hey, now! My fire depts. still use APCORS. I've got a couple left still in great condition. My personal impression is that they work great in rural areas that have low-flat land. Yes I'm talking about Farmland. No trees, no buildings, no nothing. This environment is ideal for 800 mhz. go figure!!!!!!!!!

The red medic. phone on 'Emergency' was earlier to the Apcor called a Bio-Phone.
The Apcor is a nice HD unit and the one's
I've had open have a self contained low power repeater with duplexer. Close enough
in freq. to GMRS that a conversion can be done. Biggest problem is the repeater in the Apcor has it's input/outputis upside down(-5 MHz input)which is used as a portable
extender from the Apcor.
