I've got a B7 Spectra that is loaded up and sounds great -- until the control channel of the system I am monitoring changes. Then I get the infamous "Out Rnge" on the display.
YES, I have all 4 system CC's programmed in the personality, but it seems to only "listen" to the CC position #1. In fact, if I re-program the radio with the currently active CC into position #1, it works fine again. Anyone have an idea why this radio is not properly scanning the CC list?

If you want to send me a working archive of the radio, I will look at it and see what you did wrong. There are a few menus through out the RSS that will cause this problem. I would also need to know what kind of system it is such as Smartnet or Smartzone or Wide Area, ect, ect.

Update:
- I've narrowed the problem down to this: the radio won't scan or listen to the CC that is programmed as #4 (Main-F4-F4-F5). #1-3 work just fine.

- It can receive all CC's just fine when monitoring each one conventionally, so it's definitely not an antenna/reception issue.

- I've gone screen-by-screen comparing the RSS contents in my Spectra with a properly working Spectra on the system and all settings are identical.

Anyone know what would cause this crazy radio to ignore CC #4? I hate having to re-program it every other day!!
