How do interface PAC-RT with a MCS-2000 Smartzone Trunking Radio?

You can't. But I can. And the solution has restrictions. Suggest Futurecom with an XTL5k. That can work 'In-Band" if you're careful.

Hi,

The best thing to get is manuals for both the MCS2000 and the PAC-RT. Take a look at http://www.batlabs.com/pacrt.html to get an idea of what you are up against. The GM300 interface is a good place to start. If you have not acquired a PAC-RT the SVR200 from Pyramid Communications is a great mobile repeater with application notes on interfacing to the MCS2000 on their web page. Hope this helps......
