Glad to see the board back up!
In searching for MDT signals,what do they sound like? similar to pagers?Also can they operate in VHF hi, or just UHF and 800?

MDT's Can operate anywhere in the RF spectrum from a technical stand point. from a law stand point you see them on Lowband, VHF, UHF, 800, 900 and on the ham bands in the form of packet radio and they sound similar to the static heard on your standard dial up internet service.

That does help.Thanks for your reply.
I would like to provide some helpful info here on the board rather than asking so many questions but I mainly have experience in programming maxtracs,mtx800's and gtx's.And some minor repair on these,but when I see I can help "I will" anyway thanks to you and everyone else here that have helped me in the past.
