S-10 Blazer install

Post by ROSDJS »

Hey all. Getting a new vehical and I wanted to do something different with this one. It's a '95 S-10 and I want to keep in the factory console. I'm doing this because the stupid thing runs all the way from between the seats to the front of the dash. 4WD is on the dash. My idea was to build a custom console that will fit over the extended part of the console. I'm comming up empty on how to mount it though. Any ideas??

If you remove the OEM console, you can usually attach pieces of 1/8" aluminum flatbar to the original console mounting points and run them outward. Reinstall the OEM console with the flatbar sticking out. Bend upward once the OEM console's back in and use this to attach the new console to.
